The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister Nabil Ammar had a working session today Thursday, February 16, 2023, with Ethiopia's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Demeke Mekonnen Hassan, on the fringes of his participation in the 42nd Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union (AU), held on February 15-16 in Addis Ababa.

On this occasion, the two ministers agreed "to carry on political consultations and exchange visits between both countries' senior officials, invest in cooperation opportunities and speed up the organization of the joint commission."

The meeting further turned on "the long-standing relations between both countries and ways to further foster them."
