The Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad received today, Thursday, June 8,  the credentials of Mohamed Mhadhabi as the new Ambassador the Republic of Tunisia to Damascus.

This was in the presence of the Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad and Minister of the Republic Affairs Mansour Azzam.

Last April, Tunisia and Syria announced the restoration of relations between them, after about 10 years of estrangement.
