The Tunisian Government stated that today, Tuesday, February 14, 2023, and as part of her participation in the World Government Summit being held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from February 13 to 15, the Head of Government Mrs. Najla Bouden met with the Egyptian President Mr. Abdelfattah al-Sisi, who is also participating in the summit.

The meeting was an opportunity for the two parties to express their shared political will to further develop the long-standing relations of cooperation and partnership between the two countries in various fields, in the service of their common interests and to strengthen the fraternal ties between the Tunisian and Egyptian peoples.

During the meeting, the Egyptian President expressed his full support for Tunisia's reform efforts and his willingness to continue working to enhance the sharing of expertise and experience to boost development and advance economic and administrative reforms in the two countries to meet the current challenges resulting from the global situation.

Besides, the two parties discussed regional and international issues of common interest, particularly in the light of the current security and economic challenges.

In this regard, it was agreed to raise the level of bilateral coordination and consultation, and to further unite efforts to find appropriate solutions to face the repercussions of the global economic situation.

The Egyptian President asked the Head of Government to convey a message of esteem to the Tunisian President Kais Saied.
