The annual pilgrimage to the El Ghriba synagogue in Djerba will have restrictions this year, focusing only on religious rituals within the synagogue premises, according to Perez Trabelsi, the committee head.

Trabelsi acknowledged the collaborative efforts of various authorities in facilitating the religious ceremonies within the synagogue.

In a statement obtained by TAP news agency, he emphasized Tunisia and Djerba's commitment to being places of tolerance, coexistence, and peace.
