The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that today, March 30, 2023, the Minister Nabil Ammar received a phone call from his Russian Counterpart, Serguei Lavrov.

During this call, the Russian Foreign Minister renewed his congratulations to the Tunisian Minister on his appointment by the President of the Republic.

The conversation mainly dealt with the long-standing ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries in the spirit of mutual respect and for mutual benefits.

Both parties exchanged views on the importance of balanced and responsible positions in a world where profound and rapid changes are taking place.

The two Ministers agreed to pursue consultation on bilateral, regional and international issues, as well as looking at ways to develop cooperation in various fields.
