The Anadolu Agency (AA) reported that today, Thursday, March 24, 2022, in a speech before the start of the emergency summit of the alliance in Brussels, the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Russian President Vladimir Putin had made a "big mistake" by declaring war on Ukraine.

He added that "NATO" is the strongest alliance in the world and he warned the Russian president of the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine, saying that this would change the nature of the ongoing war.

He also stressed that "NATO" is always ready to defend and respond, adding, "I do not want to say more in this regard."

He pointed out that "NATO" has reinforced its forces on the eastern borders of the alliance, such as Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia, noting that they will remain in their concentration points as long as the need arises.
