The Tunisian President ratified the new constitution and announces its official entry into force.

Today, Wednesday, August 17, 2022, the President, Kais Saied, ratified the new constitution of the Republic of Tunisia to enter into force officially, according to The Presidency of the Republic of Tunisia.

On this occasion, the Tunisian President delivered a speech in which he stressed that this historic day comes after decade of darkness that pervaded the country, because the new constitution corrects the course of the revolution, and it is a victory over what he called conspirators and skeptics at home and abroad.
