The Tunisian Ministry of Economy and Planning and the Japanese Toyota Tsusho Corporation, signed a memorandum of understanding on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the City of Culture in Tunis, to launch a series of projects in various sectors including renewable energy, health, Seawater desalination, automotive components and raw material industries.

The signing took place, on the sidelines of the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 8) held from August 27 to 28 in Tunis.
