The National Institute of Meteorology has stated that today's weather, August 27, 2024, is expected to be sunny and slightly cloudy in most regions, with some thunderous showers in the eastern regions in the afternoon.

Winds are forecasted to be relatively strong, ranging from 20 to 40 km/h near the coasts and in the south, and weak to moderate from 15 to 30 km/h elsewhere, temporarily exceeding 70 km/h with the appearance of thunderous clouds.

The sea is expected to be turbulent to locally very turbulent in the north and in the Gulf of Hammamet, and undulating along the rest of the coasts to slightly turbulent in the Gulf of Gabes.

Extreme temperatures are predicted to range between 30 and 35 degrees in the coastal regions and the western highlands, and between 35 and 39 degrees elsewhere.
