On June 24, Tunis will host the COMESA Investment Forum (CIF 2024) for the first time, with over 150 participants expected. Organized by the COMESA Regional Investment Agency (RIA), the forum aims to boost trade and investment across the COMESA region.

Key officials, including COMESA Secretariat's Assistant Secretary General Amb Dr. Mohamed Kadah, and heads of Investment Promotion Agencies from 21 Member States will attend. The theme, "Unleashing Potential: Cross-Border Trade and Investments," highlights the need for collaboration between policymakers and the private sector to enhance regional development.

CIF 2024 will focus on strategic sectors like agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, and IT, promoting diverse business opportunities within COMESA's 21 Member States, which collectively have a population of over 640 million and a GDP of $1.0 trillion.
