The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister, Nabil Ammar, on Thursday, met with Libyan Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Government of National Unity Taher Al-Baour.

The meeting reviewed a number of issues of common interest and emphasized the importance of stepping up consultation and coordination at regional and international levels, particularly with regard to combating illegal migration and human trafficking.

The two sides also discussed the state of cooperation between the two countries and ways to bring it to a higher level.

They stressed the importance of redoubling efforts to overcome the difficulties that may affect the development of this cooperation.
