Yesterday, Wednesday, October 12, 2022, Tunisia voted in favor of the draft resolution before the United Nations General Assembly condemning Russia's annexation of four Ukrainian regions, namely Zaporozhye, Kherson, Lugansk and Donetsk.

This decision was supported by an overwhelming majority (143 in favor, 5 against, 35 abstained), noting that the four regions are equivalent in size to a country like Portugal.

The five opposition countries are Russia, Syria, Nicaragua, Belarus and North Korea.
