15 wildfires were reported in 10 Tunisian governorates between June 19 and July 26, according to the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries.

3 fires broke out in the governorate of Jendouba, 2 in Ben Arous, 2 in Bizerte, 2 in Kairouan, 1 in Zaghouan, 1 in Siliana, 1 in Beja, 1 in Kasserine, 1 in Nabeul and 1 in Kef.
the General Directorate of Forests stated today, July 27, 2022, that the data on the value of the total burnt area will be released soon, adding that its team is currently assessing the total area damaged by the fire.

The available figures now are only of Boukornine's mountain, where fire damaged a 700- hectare area.

Only 13 wildfires had been put out over the past 48 hours, while two other fires recorded in Bargou (governorate of Siliana) and Djebel Ousselat (governorate of Kairouan) have not yet been contained.
