Algerian Ambassador to Tunisia, Azouz Baalal, has highlighted the significance of the border between Tunisia and Algeria, describing it as a blessing that must be safeguarded.

In an interview with Al-Sabah newspaper, published on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, Ambassador Baalal stated, "Stability in Tunisia is stability in Algeria, and vice versa. We are committed to supporting each other in the face of any threats or challenges."

He emphasized the deep-rooted, historical ties between Algeria and Tunisia, which are built on a foundation of brotherhood and solidarity. "Our relationship with Tunisia spans political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian dimensions," he remarked.

The Algerian Ambassador also noted that cooperation between the two countries extends across various fields, underscoring that Algeria and Tunisia have always worked together to maintain regional stability and address shared challenges with a spirit of solidarity and mutual understanding.
