The Tunisian Government stated that yesterday, January 24, 2023, the Head of Government, Mrs. Najla Bouden Ramadan received, at Al Kasbah Palace, the USA Chargee d'Affaires to Tunisia, Mrs. Natasha Franceschi amd the Deputy Director-General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Amy Pope, who is on a visit to Tunisia.

This meeting was devoted to following up on the positive results of the Head of Government's participation in the World Economic Forum "Davos 2023", and her fruitful talks with several heads of state and government, officials of organizations and international financing institutions, the private sector and with US officials, especially in order to find partnerships aimed at giving impetus to the Tunisian economy and supporting Tunisia's efforts, and to implement its national program to reform its economic system.

The meeting was also an opportunity to exchange visions and approaches with Amy Pope on ways to manage the various dimensions of the issue of migration, to stress the importance of the existing cooperation between Tunisia and the International Organization for Migration.
