12 people died and 351 others were injured in various accidents during the past 24 hours, according to the spokesman of the Civil Protection on Wednesday, August 02, 2023.

The same source stated that the civil protection units intervened in 423 occasions: 58 for extinguishing fire, 137 for rescue and ambulance, and 218 for non-traffic accidents.
