19 people died and 404 others were injured in various accidents during the past 24 hours, according to the spokesman of the Civil Protection on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

The same source stated that the civil protection units intervened in 436 occasions: 32 for extinguishing fire, 105 for rescue and ambulance and 287 for non-traffic accidents.
