19 people died and 414 others were injured in various accidents during the past 24 hours, according to the spokesman of the Civil Protection on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.

The same source stated that the civil protection units intervened in 429 occasions: 24 for extinguishing fire, 97 for rescue and ambulance and 301 for non-traffic accidents.
