A large delegation from the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA) led by its president Samir Majoul, is visiting Libya from December 24 to 30, coinciding with the celebration of the anniversary of Libya’s independence (December 24, 1951).
The delegation also includes many presidents of national federations and professionals in the construction sector.
The working session, chaired by Majoul and President of the General Union of Chambers of Industry and Commerce of Libya, Mhamed Abdelkerim Raidh, focused on the opportunities for cooperation in implementing Libyan construction projects.
Emphasis was placed on "the expertise of Tunisian companies allowing them to achieve these projects.”
The two parties stressed, in this regard, the need to establish a framework and create the conditions necessary for the success of this partnership.
The Tunisian delegation will have other meetings with Libyan officials in the fields of economy, telecommunications, housing, electricity and oil.
Also on the agenda, the delegation will participate in the Tunisian-Libyan economic forum, which will be held on Wednesday, December 28.
