From April 24, Tunisia to start evacuating its community residing in Sudan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that in light of the current developments in the Republic of Sudan, it informs Tunisians abroad that its services are closely following the conditions of the Tunisian community residing in this country, through the crisis cell that has been created for the purpose, and in coordination and cooperation with the Tunisian Embassy in Khartoum, which has taken the necessary and urgent measures to prepare for the evacuation of the Tunisian community, starting tomorrow, Monday, April 24, 2023.

For this purpose, all members of the community were contacted, and a list of those wishing to be evacuated was set, and they were informed of the exact place and time to secure their transfer.

The embassy also published on its official page on Facebook all the details of the evacuation process, and placed at the disposal of the community members numbers to communicate with them, calling on them to exercise the utmost caution.

The Ministry also informs that it is coordinating with the Ministry of National Defense to carry out the evacuation process and to secure all appropriate conditions for the return of the Tunisian community to the homeland.

The Ministry states that it directed our diplomatic missions in Khartoum and Cairo to carry out the necessary contacts and provide all capabilities and means to secure the evacuation process in the best conditions.
