The first flight of Tunisian pilgrims to the Holy Places in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 and the last return flight is scheduled for July 7, 2022.

In total, "Tunisair" will operate 20 flights to transport Tunisian pilgrims. The last flight from Tunisia to Saudi Arabia will be on July 3 while the last flight back to Tunisia on July 15.

These data were presented at a press conference about the Hajj season 2022 on Wednesday, June 8.

The Tunisian Minister of Religious Affairs, Mr.Ibrahim Chaibi, said that his ministry is working to ensure the best conditions of stay and accommodation for Tunisian pilgrims in order to enable them to perform their rites in the most convenient ways.

The Hajj is back after two-year suspension (2020 and 2021) due to the COVID-19 pandemic, when the Saudi authorities, last March, announced the lifting of all restrictive measures.

However, only pilgrims under 65 years of age, and who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, were approved by the Saudi Ministry of Health to perform Hajj.
