Today, August 20, 2024, Interior Minister, Khaled Nouri, received the United States Ambassador to Tunisia, Joey Hood, along with his accompanying delegation at the Ministry's headquarters.

The meeting was also attended by Soufiane Belsadek, Secretary of State to the Minister of Interior in charge of National Security.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the longstanding and distinguished partnership between Tunisia and the United States.

Both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening and diversifying these ties in the service of the security and interests of the two friendly nations, state the Tunisian Ministry of Interior.

Additionally, they discussed several ongoing joint cooperation projects related to security, counterterrorism, organized crime, and combating illegal immigration.
