The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Saturday, December 16, 2023, that it had taken a decision to exempt Tunisians wishing to visit it from obtaining a visa, along with citizens of 44 other countries such as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, India, and a number of other African countries with a Muslim majority.

This comes within the framework of Iran's endeavor to present a new image of itself, as a tourist country that encourages tourists to visit its rich and diverse attractions, according to what its Foreign Minister confirmed in a statement to his country's official news agency.
