A meeting was held yesterday, Thursday, between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Nabil Ammar, and the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, at the headquarters of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jeddah, and in the presence of the delegations of the two countries, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad.

At the beginning of the meeting, the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries, where they expressed their satisfaction with the distinguished level of coordination and cooperation between them and their keenness to further upgrade the long-standing bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them in various fields.

The two sides also noted the convergence of visions and points of view on various issues of common concern, and it was agreed to further activate the mechanisms of consultation, coordination and cooperation.

In this context, the Minister highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's standing by Tunisia and its continuous support in all fields, which was manifested in particular in the signing of two financial cooperation agreements on Thursday between the two brotherly countries, reflecting the specificity of the Tunisian-Saudi relations and the continuous care they receive from the leaderships of the two countries, stressing the importance of giving renewed impetus to bilateral relations, especially in the field of investment, in light of the important and promising investment possibilities and opportunities available in Tunisia.

From his side, the Saudi Foreign Minister expressed his country's readiness to further strengthen Tunisian-Saudi cooperation and expand it to include new fields, especially promising sectors such as renewable energies and modern technologies.
