According to a statement by The Presidency of the Republic of Tunisia, The President of the Republic, Kais Saied, received today April 1, 2022, at Carthage Palace, The General secretary of the General Labor Union, Noureddine Tebboubi, and members of the executive office of the union.

During this meeting, the President of the Republic indicated that dialogue will be based on the outcomes of the national consultation, and pointed out that today's meeting is an evidence that solutions will not be unique to one party, but they will rather be based on dialogue. A dialogue that cannot be with those who plundered the people resources or with those who wanted to overthrow the state and blow it up from within.

The President of the Republic also stressed on the inevitable constants, which are the economic and social roles of the state, because public utilities are not subject to profit and loss measures, and there must to put an end to corruption networks and spoilers attempts.
