The Tunisian Airlines announced the establishment of an air route linking Tunis-Carthage International Airport and Mohamed Boudiaf International Airport in Constantine, which will enter into operation on Saturday, March 12, 2022, with a weekly flight every Saturday in the trial phase, waiting for more scheduled flights later.

This line aims to strengthen the Tunisian-Algerian exchanges and bring the Algerian East closer to the capital Tunis. Also, to support tourism, especially in the summer.

The Constantine destination is added to other destinations within the Tunisair Express flights like Malta, Palermo, Naples and Rome, in addition to Tripoli-Sfax and Djerba line.
