The Tunisian Ministry of Interior stated that the Minister Kamel Feki had a phone conversation today, March 30, 2023, with his Italian counterpart, Matteo Piantedosi.

This conversation was an occasion for the two ministers to express their preoccupation with the growing number of irregular immigrants who arrived on the Italian coasts, during the current year.

The two ministers agreed to strengthen partnership and cooperation relations in the field of addressing irregular immigration and reducing this phenomenon, which has become a heavy burden on the shoulders of the two countries, within the framework of a comprehensive approach to solve this problem.
