The President Kais Saied flew directly from Rome to Tabarka (Jendouba governorate) on Monday evening for an emergency visit to follow up on the developments of the situation in the region after the outbreak of fires in several areas, and on the progress made in fire-fighting, rescue and evacuation operations.

The fire has once again engulfed Melloula in Tabarka due to the heatwave reported in the region for the past few days and the residues of the fire that had broken out last week.
