French media announced today, Monday, May 23, quoting the Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office, that ''a guard working at the Qatari embassy in Paris was killed by a man who was arrested after the incident."

"AFP" stated that the same source said '' the incident came after an argument between the two men in front of the embassy.''
The Public Prosecution said that the circumstances of the death were not yet known, and that an investigation had been opened.

 Le Parisien a french newspaper , quoting sources from the French police, stated that the suspect had been arrested.
