The new TLScontact visa center in Sfax was officially inaugurated yesterday, Wednesday, in the presence of French Ambassador to Tunisia, Anne Guéguen, the French consul general in Tunisia, Dominique Mas, and Bassem Missaoui, TLS Contact's managing director for North Africa.
The French Ambassador said the new center should receive between 25 and 30 % of visa applicants and reduce the need to travel.
He pointed out that the inauguration of TLScontact in Sfax coincides with a 15% reduction in visa application fees for all Tunisians.
She added that the center will focus on work and investment visa applications, given the importance of economic activities and business tourism in the Sfax region.
For his part, Bassem Missaoui said that this center would bring TLScontact services closer to the people of Sfax, Mahdia and the southern governorates of the country.
The Sfax center is expected to receive between 100 and 120 citizens per day, including in particular applicants for work and investment visas, he said.
The TLScontact center in Sfax covers the governorates of Sfax, Mahdia, Sidi Bouzid, Gabès, Gafsa, Tozeur, Kébili, Médenine and Tataouine.
It is open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 17:00 and Saturday from 8:30 to 12:00.
