The 14th edition of the International Agricultural Investment and Technology Fair is set for October 12-15 at El Kram exhibition center. New agriculture, fishing and service-related technologies and innovations will come under spotlight.

SIAT 2022, which will be under the theme "Smart Investment for Sustainable Development," is organized by the Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments (APIA in french). It will foster meetings among agricultural producers, business operators, industrialists, ship owners, suppliers and researchers.

Workshops on the agenda will address a number of themes, mainly technologies and better productivity and innovative irrigation water saving techniques to mitigate the impact of climate change.

The German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) will organize a workshop on the exchange of experiences in connection to the funding of agricultural projects with the participation of African experts.

Partnership meetings are also scheduled to stimulate the creation of joint projects and seal partnerships.
