The Oasis Marathon will be back this year in its 15th edition from November 19 to 25, in southern Tunisia after a five-year absence.

The 110km marathon will cover six stages through several towns in southern Tunisia. Runners will depart from Tozeur before passing through Douz, Jbil, Ksar Ghilene, Tataouine, Douiret and then reaching Djerba.

This event is organized as part of the promotion of sport and Saharan tourism, and it is designed to shed light on the natural features of the region and its rich cultural, civilizational and culinary heritage.
