According to the Press and Communication Office in the Tunisian Government, The Head of Government Najla Bouden received today, Monday, April 4, 2022, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Tunisia, Donald Bloom, for the end of his mission in Tunisia.

In this meeting, the Head of Government expressed her appreciation for the efforts he made during his tenure in Tunisia, and his work to support the friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries.

She also praised the continuous American support for Tunisia, especially in the fields of defense and development projects, stressing the keenness of the Tunisian side to further strengthen this fruitful cooperation in various fields.

From his part, the American Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the support he received from the Tunisian authorities throughout his work period, which enabled him to perform his duties in the best conditions.

He also reiterated America’s readiness to continue standing by Tunisia in order to complete its political transition and make its democratic experiment a success in the first place, as well as to assist it in facing the current economic, social and security challenges.
