The Tunisian Minister of Interior, Mr.Tawfik Charfeddine, received yesterday, June 9, 2022, at the ministry headquarters, the Chargée d’Affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America, Mrs. Natasha Franceschi, with the presence of high officials from the ministry.

This meeting was n occasion to talk about the deep bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to further strengthen them on the level of exchanging experiences and training.

The American Chargée d’Affaires affirmed the continuous support to Tunisia in accelerating the completion of the project of the Security Academy in Enfidha.

The Tunisian Minister of Interior highlighted the ministry's adoption of an integrated approach in consolidating respect for international human rights standards, preserving and protecting freedoms while ensuring the rule of law.

During the meeting, they also reviewed the issue of the communication policy adopted by the ministry and how it contribute to demonstrate a distinct image at the level of the relationship with various media means and their positive impact on public opinion.
