The Tunisian Ministry of Interior stated on its Facebook page that the Minister of Interior, Mr. Tawfik Charfeddine received on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at the Ministry headquarters the Ambassador of Switzerland to Tunisia, Mr. Josef Renggli.

This meeting was an occasion to discuss a number of issues of common interest, especially in the areas of cooperation between the two countries' Ministries of Interior and ways to strengthen them in the coming period, such as the issues of irregular immigration, confronting disasters, supporting civil protection and advancing joint programs in the field of local affairs and supporting decentralization, according to the statement of the Ministry of the Interior.
