Within the framework of his working visit to the Norwegian capital, Oslo, the Tunisian Minister of Social Affairs, Mr. Malek Ezzahi, reviewed this afternoon, Monday, January 16, 2023, the Norwegian system of social protection, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT in french), Mr. Nourreddine Taboubi, and the President of the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA in french), Mr. Samir Majoul, During a working session that brought him together with representatives of the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration (NAV).

Besides, the Tunisian Minister of Social Affairs, Mr. Malek Ezzahi, met his Norwegian counterpart, the Minister of Labor and Social Inclusion, Ms. Marte Mjøs Persen, where the meeting focused on ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between Tunisia and Norway in the social field.

A parallel working session also was held between the Tunisian Minister of Economy and Planning, Mr. Samir Said, the Ambassador of Tunisia in Oslo, Ms. Amal Ben Younes, and the Secretary of State to the Norwegian Minister of Finance, Ms. Ellen Reitan, during which they learned about the experience of the Norwegian Sovereign Fund.
