During this meeting, the Tunisian President indicated that some parties sought to promote misleading and false propaganda about the fact that Tunisia has turned into a racist country that hates sub-Saharan Africans and does not welcome their presence on its territory, stressing that these rumors are false and unfounded, and that everyone is equal before the law.

For his part, the President of Guinea-Bissau affirmed that the last issue regarding sub-Saharan Africans was taken out of context and misunderstood by some, stressing that Tunisia, which hosts many members of the sub-Saharan community, cannot be a racist country, which is the republic that was founded by the late leader. The Guinean President also expressed his certainty that President Kais Saied is not a racist because this phenomenon can be talked about in countries other than Tunisia.
