The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, that the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud received a written message from the President of the Tunisian Republic, Kais Saied, adding that this message comes one day after the referendum on the new constitution in Tunisia was held.

From its part, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) stated that the message "is related to the solid bilateral relations existing between the two countries and peoples, and the ways to support and enhance them in various fields at all levels."

This letter was presented by the Tunisian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Hisham Fourati, to the Saudi Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Walid bin Abdul Karim Al-Khuraiji.
