The Tunisian school in Libya, in Tripoli, Libya, reopened its doors yesterday, Monday, to welcome pupils after being shut down for ten years due to the worsening situation in the country during this period, stated the Tunisian Ministry of Education.
The school, covering an area of 1,200 m2, welcomes 300 pupils, including children of Tunisians living in Libya and others of Arab nationality.
They are taught by 18 teachers, using the Tunisian education system, from 8am to 1pm.
The school, located just a few meters from the Tunisian embassy, was reopened in the presence of the Tunisian ambassador to Libya Lassad Laajili and Consul General Taoufik Guesmi, as well as the school's educational and administrative staff.
