The National Institute of Meteorology has stated that the weather for today, May 22, 2024, is expected to be partly cloudy in most regions, then become heavily cloudy in the north and the center, with some local thunderstorms.

Winds are forecast to be weak to moderate in the north and the center, then become stronger later near the coasts and in the south, accompanied by some local sandy swirls. The sea is expected to be undulating in Serrat and the Gulf of Gabes, and slightly turbulent along the rest of the coasts.

Extreme temperatures are expected to range between 25 and 31 degrees in the north, the highlands, and the eastern coastal regions, around 23 degrees near the northern coasts, and between 32 and 36 degrees elsewhere.
