The Tunisian Ministry of Interior stated that the Minister Kamel Feki met with the Director General of the Civil Protection of Algeria, Boualem Boughlef, today, Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

The two officials focused on cooperation relations and ways to foster them. They also discussed the possibility of updating the cooperation agreement, inked in 1985, to bring it in line with changes in legislation of both countries and modern working methods, said the Interior Ministry.

The 1985 agreement provides for cooperation and mutual assistance in civil protection.

The meeting took place as part of Boughlef's participation in the works of the civil protection cooperation commission held on Janaury 23 and 24 in Tabarka.
