Supporting the bilateral military cooperation was the focus of the meeting between the Tunisian Minister of National Defense Imed Memmich and the Belgian Ambassador to Tunisia, at the ministry headquarters.

The Minister of National Defense praised the good level of the existing bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries, calling for its further upgrading and developing in a way that contributes to promoting the operational capabilities of the armed forces, especially in the areas of training and exchanging experiences within the framework of a road map for cooperation.

From his part, the Belgian Ambassador expressed his country's readiness to further support bilateral military cooperation, according to the needs of the Tunisian military institution.

It is noteworthy that the work of the Joint Tunisian-Belgian Military Committee will be held next May in Brussels.
