The Minister of Interior, Kamal El-Feki, received today, Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the Ministry's headquarters, the Ambassador of the European Union to Tunisia, Marcus Cornaro, according to the Ministry of Interior.

The meeting was an opportunity to review partnership and cooperation programs supporting the security sector in many areas of common interest, especially in the field of training and exchange of experiences.

The progress of the implementation of existing projects with the European Union that are of interest to the Ministry of Interior was reviewed.

Regarding irregular migration, the two parts stressed on the need to set a realistic, multidimensional approach based on eliminating the causes, not on trying to deal with the results in a way that guarantees the common interests of the various concerned parties.
