The Presidency of the Republic stated that Tunisia expresses its solidarity with the Syrian and Turkish peoples, following the devastating earthquake that occurred this morning and resulted in huge human and material losses.

Tunisia presents its sincere condolences and expressions of sympathy to the families, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured, and asking God Almighty to protect the two brotherly Syrian and Turkish peoples from all harm.

Tunisia also expresses its willingness to help and contribute to supporting the efforts made in these difficult circumstances in order to overcome the repercussions of this human tragedy.

The President of the Republic ordered to send urgent aids to both Syria and Turkiye. Military aircraft will transport these aids to the two brotherly countries.
