The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister Othman Jerandi received, today, January 04, 2023, at the ministry headquarters, the Ambassador of the Republic of France in Tunisia, André Parant, in order to folow up on the various aspects of Tunisian-French cooperation.

​During this meeting, they discussed, in particular, the preparations for the fourth session of the Higher Council for Cooperation between Tunisia and France, which was agreed to be held during the first semester of the current year.

In this context, the Minister stressed the need to prepare well for this important bilateral event, which is the main mechanism for following up on the strong and distinguished relations between Tunisia and France, and for discussing ways to further develop bilateral cooperation and partnership.

​For his part, the French Ambassador highlighted his country's keenness to continue supporting the Tunisian economy and further strengthening cooperation relations with it in all fields, especially economic and development ones, stressing the importance of the ongoing coordination between the two sides in the light of the fourth session of the Higher Council for Tunisian-French Cooperation, which will also represent an important opportunity to advance the partnership between the two countries through the Tunisian-French Business Forum that will be organized on the same occasion as well.
