The Ministry of National Defense stated that the Minister Imed Memmich received today, Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the headquarters of the ministry, the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Tunisia Maher Tarawneh.

This meeting was an occasion to discuss enhancing military cooperation between Tunisia and Jordan and exploring ways for its further development.

The meeting serves also as a preliminary step for the Joint Military Commission, as stated in a press release issued by the Ministry.

The Tunisian Minister welcomed the robust and friendly relations between the two nations, highlighting the aspiration to bolster military advancements, especially in the domains of training and knowledge exchange.

In response, the Jordanian diplomat expressed his country's keenness to perpetuate the progress of military collaboration with Tunisia for the mutual benefit of both fraternal peoples.
