The 11th Session of the Tunisian-Saudi Joint Committee started yesterday, Tuesday, in Tunis with the participation of high-level Tunisian and Saudi delegations, according to a statement by the Tunisian Ministry of Economy and Planning.
The Tunisian delegation was led by the Minister in charge of managing the Ministry of Economy and Planning, Siham Boughdiri Namsiah, who emphasized the importance of the participation of businessmen from both countries and its positive impact on investment and job creation.
The Saudi delegation was led by the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Kharif, who announced that the committee resulted in the signing of 7 agreements between the two countries in the fields of industry, tourism, environment, agricultural scientific research, meteorology, climate, water, and labor. This will open up broad prospects for cooperation between the two countries, added the Tunisian Ministry.
The Saudi delegation includes representatives from several ministries, government institutions, financial institutions, as well as a group of businessmen and officials from various Saudi companies active in different sectors.
