The Libyan official in the Ras Jedir crossing, Salem Al-Akaak, said that an expanded meeting was held yesterday, Monday, August 15, 2022, in Tunisia, and it was agreed to open four new gates in the crossing, one of which is for pedestrians and traders.
The Libyan official indicated that these measures aim to ensure more flexible movement at the border crossing between the two countries, which is known to be very crowded, explaining that the assigned company has started its tasks, amid expectations that it will complete its tasks within approximately 40 days.
