On the sidelines of his participation in the 48^th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CMF) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held on 22-23 March 2022 in Islamabad, Pakistan, the minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad Othman Jerandi held a meeting with the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Libya Mohamed Issa.

This meeting dealt with the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them, in addition to the developments in the political situation in Libya.

The minister affirmed Tunisia’s position, which was expressed by the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, in many occasions, which supports everything that would consolidate stability and security in Libya and establish a new, internally reconciled and effective Libya in enhancing security and peace in our region and worldwide.
