Tunisia, Mali: discussing the need to further develop bilateral relations

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Tunisians Abroad stated that the Minister, Mr. Othman Jerandi, received yesterday, January 5, 2023, at the Ministry's headquarters, the Ambassador of the Republic of Mali in Tunisia and Dean of the African Group, Mrs. Diakité Fatoumata N'Diaye, on the occasion of the end of her duties in Tunisia.

During this meeting, the Tunisian Minister praised the efforts made by the Ambassador, throughout her tenure, to strengthen the existing areas of cooperation between Tunisia and Mali, stressing the need to further develop relations between the two countries.

The Minister also highlighted the importance that Tunisian diplomacy attaches to the African dimension and the need to intensify bilateral coordination and consultation between the two countries in order to raise the pace of African-African cooperation and explore new areas of cooperation according to the requirements of the regional updates.

For her part, the Malian Ambassador expressed her deep thanks and gratitude to the Tunisian authorities for the support and facilities she received for the success of her mission in Tunisia and for the consolidation of fraternal relations between the two countries.
